From supporting vaccination travel mandates to urging his constituents to get vaccinated, Chuck Grassley has been an enemy to medical freedom. Thousands of medical workers have lost their jobs, hard-working and hopeful Iowans have been unable to graduate nursing school due to not wanting the vaccine. Iowan’s religious liberties have been trampled on by denying their religious exemption requests.

People have lost their bodily autonomy and been coerced into medical decisions that they didn’t want for themselves. I believe that where there is risk, there must be a choice. I have been a champion for medical freedom, Co-sponsoring SF 555, a bill to broaden Iowa’s exemptions for childhood vaccinations, forbid Iowa employers from requiring their employees to be vaccinated, and provide other protections for people who decline to be vaccinated.

In addition to spearheading legislation for medical freedom groups such as Informed Choice Iowa, I also travel and speak to medical freedom crowds across Iowa. It has been my great honor to receive many awards for representing the needs of Iowans, including the “Conservative Excellence Award” from the American Conservative Union, the “Legislative Hero Award” from Prevent Child Abuse of Iowa, and the “Defender of Truth” Award, from Informed Choice Iowa in honor of Erica Sarver.
