Freedom Isn’t Free
Generations of Americans have paid a heavy price to protect our freedom. Six-hundred thousand union soldiers fought a war to gain it. Two generations of young Americans fought in world wars to preserve it. America made untold sacrifices in the cold war to win it. Thousands endeavored here and abroad after 9/11 against an evil that wanted to destroy it.
Ronald Reagan once said ‘Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.’ His words ring true today.
In my campaign for the United States Senate, I will speak for Americans who cherish their freedoms and want a Senator who will actually fight to keep them, protect them, and advance them.
In the United States Senate, I will remain committed to representing Iowans the way I always have:
Protecting the constitutional rights of those who want to live their lives defined by their faith in God and the wisdom of the Bible.
Defending the values of those who affirm that all have a right to life, the right to defend themselves and their loved ones, and to speak freely as they see fit without being shunned, hated, or silenced.
Creating choice for those who believe they have a right to raise their children and instill in them the values they know will serve them through life’s journey.
Fostering opportunity for those who know the value of hard work and persistence to become who they want to be, on their own terms, in their own way.
The threats to our freedoms are no longer veiled.
Many of us now wonder whether our children and our grandchildren will live free. No cause is more important than preserving freedom for the next generation.
