Here's how to make it count on June 2.
Request Iowa Absentee Ballot (by Mail) for the Republican Primary
Submit the completed and signed form to your County Auditor (mail, fax, or in-person). Deadline: Must be received by 5:00 p.m. on May 18, 2026 (15 days before the election). Note: For the primary, you must specify Republican party affiliation on the form.

In-Person Absentee (Early) Voting Locations for the Republican Primary
Start Date: Approximately May 13, 2026 (20 days before Election Day). Primary Location: Your County Auditor’s Office (or satellite sites if offered).
Election Day In-Person Voting Locations (June 2, 2026)
Polls open 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
